* Lavender oil is often used for headache. When you experience the initial symptoms of headache, rub 1 /one/ drop of lavender oil diluted in 1 table spoon base oil on your wrists, both temples and the back of the neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Afterwards, relax in a quiet and dark room and inhale lavender fragrance meanwhile – from 3 to 5 drops for area of 5 sq. m. You can drip 1-2 drops lavender oil on your pillow before going to bed for sweet dreams.

* Inhaling the vapours of lavender oil can be beneficial in cases of allergies, dizziness, insomnia (in children), hay fever, headache, depression, traumas, anxiety, hysteria, fear, nightmares, irritability, nervousness or as a remedy against insects. It will relieve depression and will help you in critical situations, it relieves stress and helps for tense muscles and spasms.

* For relaxing and soothing effect /rub a few drops of lavender oil mixed with base oil along your legs or hands/.

* Apply a drop of lavender oil on a bee sting spot or another insect to prevent swelling and reduce the itchiness.

* Apply 2-3 drops of lavender oil mixed with base oil on sunburns to relieve the pain and prevent scars.

* Mix a few drops of lavender oil with olive oil or coconut oil and use this mixture in cases of eczema or dermatitis.

* Rub 1 drop of lavender oil on your lips if they are cracked or after sunburns.

* Apply 2 drops of lavender oil diluted with coconut oil on your armpits for an effect of a natural deodorant.

* To soothe hay fever symptoms, rub 1 drop of lavender oil on your palms and inhale deeply.

* To eliminate dandruff, apply a few drops of lavender oil diluted with base oil on your scalp or add 15 drops of lavender oil for 100 ml shampoo or hair conditioner.

* To enhance hair growth, mix 5 drops lavender oil with 2 table spoons warm coconut oil. Apply this on your scalp and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse your hair with shampoo.

* Drip a few drops of lavender oil on a cotton pad and put it in your wardrobe or cupboards to make your clothes smell nice and protect them from moths.

* In cases of rash, apply 2-3 drops of lavender oil diluted with 1 table spoon base oil to relieve the itchiness and help to restore the skin.

* When you experience the initial symptoms of cold, rub lavender oil /diluted with base oil/ on the neck, breasts, temples and between the eyes to soothe the sinuses.

* Lavender is particularly beneficial for lowering high temperature. Add 3 drops of lavender oil to lukewarm water and stir well. Use this as a compress for your head, legs and arms.

* Lavender oil is particularly beneficial during birth – it accelerates the process, soothes and disinfects the air.

* For fragrance massage – add not more than 20 drops of lavender oil to 50 ml base oil, you can also make other combinations based on your preferences.

* For inhalations – add 3 drops of lavender oil to 2 litres boiled water for 10 minutes /in cases of cold and flu/.

* For fragrance bath – add 3 to 5 drops of lavender oil in a bath-tub with warm water and stir energetically. You may combine a few essential oils.

* For compresses: drip 5-10 drops of lavender oil in 150 ml water for wounds and burns.
